special projects
Enquip designs and manufactures custom winches for a wide range of applications. These include models with double drums, systems with dual drive options, electric winches equipped with control panels and frequency inverters, as well as a variety of additional accessories.
We also develop research winches used on polar vessels. Within this line, we highlight special winches for measurement cable storage and for hoisting underwater probes, equipped with motorized levelwinds, high-performance hydraulic motors, and ultra-low-noise operation. Control and monitoring are carried out through Remote Control Units with digital interface, connected to the winches via fiber optic cables. This technology enhances signal performance, enables long-distance operation, and eliminates interference. Today, our winches are already in service on Brazilian polar vessels operating along the Antarctic coast.
All Enquip equipment is developed using state-of-the-art information technology. Projects are created in next-generation CAD systems and virtually tested with advanced CAE software. After manufacturing, each winch undergoes rigorous testing and, when required, is certified by international classification societies.
